In the link above is the final Beach and Dune Management Plan for Porthtowan.
This report was done for Cornwall Council by Consultancy CH2M. It cost thousands and was done for several beach areas throughout Cornwall that were deemed to be at risk.
This is an important, professional, document and will form the basis of most/all actions going forward regarding beach and dune management at Porthtowan. The draft plan was published some time ago.
The PBA and the Dune Group had the opportunity to give their inputs into this plan a couple of years ago and here it is.
Its taken awhile.
