The British Bodyboard Club Nationals event at Porthtowan originally scheduled to take place earlier in September but postponed due to lack of surf. The event has now been rescheduled for the weekend of 8-9 November 2014.
Although the RNLI Lifeguards will have officially finished covering the beach the weekend before they are working with the organiser to provider safety cover for this event.
